ABOUT BLAYNE
Blayne Barber was born on December 25, 1989 in Tallahassee, FL. He grew up in the small North Central Florida town of Lake City, playing golf at Quail Heights CC with his dad, who began taking him to the course when he was 3. At 7 years old, Blayne told his mom that he wanted to be a professional golfer when he grew up. Blayne played baseball until he was 12, but decided to give it up to focus on golf full time. Blayne began his college career at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. After his freshman year, he transferred to Auburn University in Auburn, AL, where he played 2 more years before graduating with a business degree in Finance. Blayne was a three-time All-American. He earned First-Team All-American honors his redshirt junior year. He also competed for United States teams in the 2011 and 2012 Palmer Cup, as well as the 2011 Walker Cup.
